Making Contacts

Where do these things come from… I was mentioning that finding credibility of my plays is a real challenge. Indeed, I mentioned just this to my boss a couple of weeks ago (who was bragging to anyone that was listening about the awards I had won in the festival; and how I work for him).

He has just put me in contact with his next door neighbour, who would like to read my work.

That might sound somewhat unimpressive to you… (After all, would you pass your work to your next door neighbour, expecting enhanced credibility?)

I would love to tell you who this chap is… but just like the series I’ve gained a part in, it would be unethical to say too much… But this guy turns out to be a major Hollywood screenwriter!

Different genre, I know… but would that be credibility or what…?
